The public service announcement that I made is about the importance of smart shopping and how poor grocery shopping habits can take a toll on a person’s wallet. I chose calm-sounding piano music as well as smooth and clear videos to grab the attention of viewers. Every scene that was used in the video was meant to make the viewer question their spending habits while highlighting some problems that I believe to be common when shopping. The questions being “Are you tired of buying too many groceries you don’t need?” was used to grab the viewer’s attention while asking them a core question; “Spending too much on things you don’t need?” is used to pull the viewer in further, and lastly, “Is your grocery shopping draining your wallet?” was the last question that is meant to be answered. The last scene is the answer to every question Shop smarter, save smarter means to buy only what you need to save the most amount of money.

Scene breakdown
Full cart of groceries “Are you tired of buying too many groceries you don’t need?“

Person carrying a lot of groceries “Spending too much on things you don’t need?“

Camera looking around the store “Is your grocery shopping draining your wallet?“

Smaller cart with less groceries “Don’t let poor spending affect you!” “Shop smarter, save smarter.”
