A Tasty Grilled Cheese Breakfast Sandwich Recipe to Try
If you are looking for something unique to eat for breakfast, this recipe is for you. This tasty sandwich recipe puts a breakfast sandwich twist on the otherwise simple grilled cheese sandwich.
What you’ll want to do first is place a skillet on your stove and preheat it to medium or low heat to give it time to warm up as you slice the toppings of your choice. This example uses ham, onions, and leftover steak bits.
Once you have all the toppings sliced up, put them into the skillet and pour in about a tablespoon of olive oil. Sautee the ingredients until they turn soft. Once finished cooking, transfer the toppings to a bowl, turn the heat low, and clean off the residue from the pan.

Next, you’ll want to cut two slices of bread of your choice. This example uses white bread. Place the bread slices atop of each other, and make a diagonal cut from one corner to the opposite.

Then, arrange the slices in a way that fits in your pan. You may have to cut off bits of the edges to make it work.

Next, grab two eggs, and in a separate bowl, crack them open, and whisk them together. Add in salt and pepper to taste.
Now put the bread slices into the pan, arrange them to fit, then turn the heat up to medium, pour in a tablespoon of olive oil, and pour in the eggs. Let the bread and eggs sit for a couple of minutes before flipping them.
Be careful not to tear anything while flipping the bread. Once flipped, you may now add in the toppings from before. Distribute evenly over the bread.

Let sit for a couple more minutes. While it sits, go ahead and take two slices of cheese of your choice. This example uses American cheese. Put them atop of each other and make the same diagonal cut as with the bread. Place each cheese slice over the bread slices.

Finally, turn off the heat, fold the sandwich over itself, and transfer to a plate. Enjoy!
