In this PSA, “End the Silence,” we aim to empower individuals to confront the silence surrounding mental health. We hope that after watching this video, it will encourage students to seek support when needed. The powerful message: It is okay not to be okay. During the toughest times, students may believe they are the only ones feeling this way. But you are not alone. There are other students who can relate to how you’re feeling. Whether dealing with personal or academic stressors, Glendale Community College is dedicated to creating a safe environment where students not only feel empowered to share their struggles without the fear of judgment but also have the opportunity to access resources for each other. Together, we can break the silence and be there for one another. It starts by ensuring everyone receives the support and care they deserve.
