When people think of a park, the first image that often comes to mind is children laughing and playing in colorful playgrounds; while that may be the case, there are way more things to do besides playing in playgrounds! Especially with great weather like this, there’s no better time to escape the daily grind and immerse yourself in the natural beauty and vibrant energy of Sunburst Paradise Park. Located off of 35th Avenue and Paradise Lane, it is a beautiful getaway for individuals and their loved ones while trying to escape the daily hardships of work and studying. I love taking my camera and going out and taking pictures of the various birds and wildlife that appear in this park because there is a ton of it! There are so many amenities at this park for everyone to utilize. For example, if you are into playing sports, tons of locals here play all sorts of sports daily. The park has a basketball and volleyball court, which is fantastic for avid sports players. A vast field also accompanies it, so people bring various equipment and play whatever they want! It is such a beautiful sight to behold. If you are not a sports fan and want to relax and cool off, there are various swing sets, benches, tables, and even barbeques for anyone to use. Sometimes, it is okay to wind down with some excellent activities, or if you want to sit and relax in the grass or on the benches, this may be the spot for you. Parks are less popular than they were, and I look fondly upon the memories I created at them. Regardless of whether you think parks are for children, they hold a place in everyone’s heart, whether an excellent place to hang out or even just a day full of sunbathing. I hope they continue to thrive for the years to come.
