Don’t wait, Comet Tsuchinshan Atlas is passing by earth right now, visible to the human eye, watch it tonight before it’s too late!!

Comet Tsuchinshan Atlas A3 is passing earth in a once in a lifetime opportunity, and you won’t want to miss it. Once it’s gone you won’t be able to see it for another 80,000 years.

You can view the comet tonight, and the rest of October and early November. But don’t wait. Every passing day the comet gets dimmer, so make sure you go out as soon as possible to get a good view at it.

You can find the comet on the west side of the sky shortly after sunset, shining for around an hour. You can find it above Venus, the Brightest star in the sky.

For the best view try getting as far away from the city as possible, find somewhere dark, the less light pollution the better. Some great places to view it are the mountains that surround our valley, and the rural outskirts of Maricopa County which offers a dark environment for you to view the comet. One great recommendation is Skyline Regional Park located in Buckeye’s rural farmland outskirts of the valley. It offers a dark environment with little light pollution to ruin your view, plus an unobstructed view so nothing distracts you from the show. Located Just North of the I10 on Watson Road.

If possible, bring binoculars or a telescope for a better view. Make sure to capture this once in a lifetime phenomenon with a photo, it’s easy. You can capture a good photo with your phone by taking a long exposure shot, or If you’re using a DSLR or Mirrorless camera, try using a slower shutter speed to capture as much light as possible.

So don’t wait, head outside tonight and view this once in a lifetime phenomenon!!
