It’s a beautiful day outside. The sun is out, it’s nice and windy, and it’s becoming fall. On days like these, it’s cool enough to bask in the sunlight. All the right conditions to go outside and get some fresh air after a long, burning summer. Gather your friends, grab some food, and drive, or walk, out to a park to have a nice picnic. Just be careful the wind doesn’t blow the blanket away. There are a lot of nice places to go for lunch, but being outside just has a different vibe to it. It’s been a while since Arizonans have gone outside on a cool day.

Since the days are getting cooler, it’s a great time to go for a stroll for a while without getting sunburn or heat exhaustion. Many parks and hiking trails have picnic benches for people to sit down and relax. So if you want to take a lunch break after a few hours of exercise, you can take a seat at one of the benches to set up. Most of the benches have some form of shade, mainly because of how hot the sun’s rays get, but you don’t have to worry about the heat as much during this time of the year.

Even though shade isn’t necessary at the moment, since the sun isn’t burning people alive, it’s still nice to have shade while the wind is blowing, making it even cooler. Sometimes, the things that create shade can help keep the wind from blowing all the supplies away when setting up food and snacks. It’s also a good idea to pick up some large rocks to weigh down the cloth and table items for extra security.

There are a lot of places that have great picnic spots. But the thing that makes these spots great is having the perfect weather to be outside.
